China reported weak yuan loan growth for July, adding to concerns about domestic demand. Also, worries about the Chinese property market were piqued when Country Garden said it expects to lose approx. $8.0 billion in the first half of 2023.
The International Energy Agency (IEA) warned of tight supply in 2023 due to OPEC+ production cuts, but said it expects demand growth to slowdown in 2024.
The 2-yr note yield is down one basis point to 4.82% and the 10-yr note yield is up two basis points to 4.10%
